My brother ate the leftovers I'd saved. Who's wrong?
The complainant says
I'm staying at my parents' house for a few weeks between flats. My brother lives there too. On Sunday mum made a roast and I saved a plate for my Monday lunch: beef, roast potatoes, the lot. I wrapped it in foil, put it on the top shelf and wrote 'saved for Monday, do not eat' on a sticky note on the foil.
On Monday morning the plate was in the sink. My brother had come home late after the pub and eaten the whole thing. He says the sticky note had fallen off, but I found it stuck to the fridge door.
The other side says the brother, as the complainant tells it
He says he genuinely didn't see a note, he was hungry, and food in mum's fridge is fair game for anyone in the house. He's offered to buy me a meal deal as compensation.
