About What People Really Think
Social media rewards the answer that looks good. This site is for the answer that is true.
Every answer here is private. There are no usernames, no follower counts, no public answer history and no comment sections. You answer, you see what everyone else said, and you move on. Nobody can see what you picked.
How it works
- Answer first. Pick an answer and the live results appear straight away.
- Nothing is attached to you. We keep one random code in your browser so the same person cannot answer the same question twice. That code is scrambled differently for every question, so even we cannot line up one person's answers across questions.
- Anyone can ask. Send in your own question. It is checked for abuse, threats, spam and personal details, and a person reads it before it goes live. It is published without your name.
- Breakdowns stay broad. Age group and country splits only appear when enough people have answered, so no small group can be singled out.
What the numbers mean
Results show what the people who answered here think. They are not a scientific survey and do not represent the whole population. They are often more honest than a survey, though, because nobody is watching.
An account is optional
You never need one. If you create one, you can save questions and see private stats, such as how often you side with the majority. Your individual answers stay private.
Who runs it
What People Really Think is operated by [operator name not set], [operator address not set]. It is an independent website and is not affiliated with any company, brand or person named in its content.
How it is paid for
What People Really Think is free to use and shows no advertising at the moment. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy will say so first, and advertising will never decide what appears in results.
