I work in a café. A colleague has asked me to cover her Saturday shift for the last three weekends, each time a few days before. The first time was a family thing and I was happy to help. The second was a festival. The third was 'just really need a lie-in'.
This week she asked again and I said no, because I have plans. She told our manager I'm 'not a team player' and the manager asked me if there was a way I could help out.
She says she's been going through a hard time and needs the weekends, that I don't have kids so I'm more flexible, and that she's covered for me before. She says I could have been kinder about how I said no.

The manager should be sorting rotas, not asking you to fix it.
If she really is having a hard time, maybe mention that to the manager so they can support her properly. Not your job to be the solution.
