My neighbour keeps taking in my parcels and then going away for the weekend.
The complainant says
My neighbour works from home and very kindly takes in parcels for half the street. The problem is she often takes in my parcels on a Friday and then goes away for the weekend, so I can't get them until Monday evening. Twice it's been something I needed urgently, including a birthday present.
I've set a delivery preference to leave parcels in my porch, but drivers still knock at hers. I asked her if she could not accept my parcels. She seemed hurt and said she was doing me a favour.
The other side says the neighbour, as the complainant tells it
She says she's always happy to help, drivers ask her directly and it feels rude to refuse, and I could collect parcels on Friday evening if I checked my notifications.

She's being lovely and you're being reasonable. Nobody is wrong, it's just annoying.
Asking her not to take your parcels is a perfectly polite request.
A parcel locker would save everyone's feelings.
Checking your notifications on a Friday isn't a huge ask though.
