Terms

CrumbJar Polls is part of CrumbJar, so the CrumbJar terms of use apply to it, including who runs the site, liability and the law that governs them. This page adds the rules that are specific to CrumbJar Polls.
What this is
CrumbJar Polls lets anyone ask a multiple-choice question and share it. Results describe how people who happened to answer on this site answered. They are not a representative survey and must not be presented as one.
Your content
You keep ownership of the questions and comments you post. By posting, you let us host, display and share that content as part of running the service, including in link previews on other platforms, as the CrumbJar terms describe.
What you may not post
The floor is legal and safety, not taste. You may not post:
- content that is unlawful where it is published
- credible threats, or incitement to violence
- content that sexualises children, in any form
- intimate images shared without consent
- other people’s personal information
- spam, scams, malware or phishing links
- automated voting, or any attempt to manipulate results at scale
A question being controversial, unpopular, or an opinion we disagree with is not by itself a reason for removal. See the community rules.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. You are responsible for what happens under yours. We can suspend an account that repeatedly breaks these terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Removal
We may remove content that breaks these terms, and may take a question out of discovery pages or away from advertising while leaving its link working. If you think we got it wrong, tell us through the CrumbJar contact form and a person will look at it again.
