Should I have said something when the person in front of me let five friends into the queue?
The complainant says
I'd been queuing for about 45 minutes to get into a popular food market stall. When I was fourth from the front, the person ahead of me waved over five friends who'd just arrived and they all joined the queue with her.
I said, 'Sorry, are they joining here? We've all been waiting a while.' She said they were 'together' and one of her friends said I should relax. Other people behind me nodded but nobody else said anything.
The other side says the person in front, as the complainant tells it
She says she was holding their place, which is normal, and that the friends had parked the car while she queued. She says nobody else complained, so I was making a scene.

Parking a car doesn't take five people.
Unless it's a really big car.
Holding a place for one person, fine. Five people is a coach party.
Nobody else complained because you did it for them. The nodding was support.
'You should relax' said by the person who skipped the queue. Classic.
