Case #94757 Weddings 8,721 jurors so far

My friend didn't invite my partner of four years to her wedding. Should I still go?

The complainant says

I've been with my partner for four years and we live together. A close friend sent me a wedding invitation addressed only to me. When I asked, she said the venue is small and they've had to limit plus-ones to married couples and engaged couples only.

I understand budgets, but the wedding is a three-hour drive away with an overnight stay. My partner and I share one car. I said I might not be able to come, and she said I'm choosing my partner over our friendship.

The other side says the friend, as the complainant tells it

She says she's had to make really painful cuts to the guest list and applied the same rule to everyone, including her own cousins. She says it's one day and I'm making it about me.
